Where ~ Elements Of The Earth Collectives ~ 20 High St, Willunga, South Australia

Craft your very own ceramic altar, hand-built infusing potent energy into your piece before it even holds your sacred items.

Soothe your mind away from the daily grind, craft away, make some new friends, relax + nourish your belly with cacao, chai + a grazing platter!

Altars can be many things, they can be personal devotional spaces, a space for ritual or ceremony, a space for remembrance or prayer, meditation, holding offerings.
Altars can also be used for more functional things like jewellery storage, holding candles + incense, displaying crystals + other collectable items.

Cacao + chai will be offered on arrival as we settle into the space, relaxing to a visual meditation led by Sharn of Elements Of The Earth Collectives + anointing of essential oil to bring in your intentions.

We will begin by roughly designing our altar on paper followed by selecting your clay from the beautiful range of earthenware + stoneware clays on offer.

The structure will be a combination of slab + hand-building to achieve your desired final design. Olivia of Mother Forager will assist you wherever needed as this will be an intimate group allowing for 1:1 guidance.

You will have the opportunity to decorate your altar with all of the colours of the rainbow before temporarily leaving it for drying + firing.

You will get to make 1 altar + choose from a range of earthenware or stoneware clays.
